Hello, We are new to the list and are trying to research our WEAVERS. We have a greatgrandfather, PETER W. WEAVER, raising his family in Bracken Co. Ky. His papers say he was born in Nicholas Co. Ky. in 1830. A NANCY (Weaver) CANADY HARVEY said she was the daughter of Cornelius & Elizabeth Weaver and was born in BATH Co. Ky. in 1812? We have several reasons to believe Nancy Weaver is the sister to our greatgrandfather, Peter W. Weaver. Cornelius (67 yrs. old) & Elizabeth(60 yrs. old) Weaver, with a 16 year old daughter, (Margaret) are in the BATH Co. Ky. 1850 Census. Gone in the 1860 census. I do not know what kind of resources are available in Bath Co. Did Cornelius & Elizabeth Weaver die in Bath Co. before 1860? Did Margaret marry someone from Bath Co. between 1850 and 1860? Hello Bath County Researchers I'm searching for any data regarding my 3'rd gr grandparents being Thomas ADAMS who married Catherine WATSON 12/16/1794 in Bourbon County. It seems they had 11 children. I'm quite sure some of thier children were born in Bath County. James ADAMS born 12/21/1794 Bath County & marr. Elizabeth GRAY 8/30/1814 in Bath County. James died 3/9/1875 in Switzerland County, In. His mother Catherine lived with him after Thomas died abt. 1815 in Bath County. Don't know what cemetery he is in, LOOKING FOR THAT INFO. Aaron ADAMS born 6/8/1807 in Bath County Married Mary/Polly HART 10/24/1829. Many people are descended from Thomas & Catherine & we are still searching for the parents of both Thomas & Catherine. Some family researchers believe the parents of Thomas may have been Elijah ADAMS & Hannah BLAIR who lived in Penn. It seems Hannah went to Bourbon County, Ky. after Elijah died. Some of thier children were, Elijah, Ephraim, Solomon, THOMAS & Hester. Census records suggest Catherine WATSON was born in Md. & perhaps her mother was named Hester ( ? ) I would like to hear from anyone having any data regarding this ADAMS, WATSON or BLAIR family group.
