I was wondering if anyone knew when the fish hatchery was put in on the Licking River? Was this the same time the Corp was making their lake. I found where my grandfather, Arthur Staton, was born at Yale, KY which is in one of the campgrounds now. I have been trying to determine where William Washington Pierce's land was that Laura Wills Staton Pierce sold to her son Arthur and daughter-in-law Rose Ellen Alfrey. I seems like their stomping grounds may be under the lake. What records are available of what the Corp did? Sandra Larew Wills, Alfrey, Staton and assorted others

On the serious side. A note to everyone. Due to problems with my e-mail server in Kansas City, I've not been able to receive e-mail since early Saturday morning. But I can still send e-mail!! This problem should not exist much longer, I hope. Any e-mail addressed to me is being stored at Kansas City until the problem is solved. On the lighter side. Now, since I can't receive e-mail but can still send, and it IS February 28. It seems a fine opportunity to ask the annual question of several of our more esteemed earthquake-prone California researchers. Jamie and Keith -- can you see the ocean yet??
