Dear List: Is there anything in the book 'Blood Runs In The Barren' about the murder of ALEXANDER MADISON SILVEY, who was murdered at Shobe Store, Hydro, Warren Co., KY., on June 3, 1866. He was buried on June 4, 1866 in the Totty Cemetery at the Junction of KY Hiway 1297 and Lawrence Road, Hydro, Warren Co., KY. The Totty Cemetery is about two tenths of a mile from Shobe Store. His tombstone reads 5th Ky Calvary, Company B. How was he murdered? By whom? Why? Was there a trial? Was there a newspaper article?
