Yesterday I went to the Culture Center in Glasgow. What wonderful people and a wonderful resource! I wasa ride along with a friend that was working. During my short time there I found some great info. I have been looking for information concerning my gg grandfather James Willis Glass and my ggrandmother Mary E Collins Glass. What I found was a genealogy research for one of James' sons, in the research it stated that James Willis's father was James Henry and his father was Benjamin F. Also I found that James and Mary E were married in Metcalfe County on Aug. 29, 1871 and that W.F. Collins paid the bond. B.J. ferrell as did Oliver John Harbison. Mary E was only sixteen so I am sure that her parents had to give permission. Questions: Does anyone have any further info on these people and how can I obtain the official records from Metcalfe County to find the parents full name? Thanks, Jennefer
