The Ritter Graveyard There was a young girl who stayed all night with her Uncle Ritter once. She had to sleep in a wing of the house that extended out towards the family graveyard. Before falling asleep, she glanced over toward the window and something jumped up on the windowsill, gave one jump into the middle of the floor, and the next jump landed on the bed with the girl. In her frightened mind she tried to determine what it was! It could have been a big cat; but if it was, it was standing on two legs. It was about the size of a monkey but didn't look like any monkey she had ever seen. But whatever it was, it was strong and started pulling on the covers. For some reason it wanted under the bed covers. For what seemed like hours, the tug of war continued until finally the girl fell asleep from pure exhaustion. But just as she drifted off she saw the creature hop to the floor and in one big leap, jumped out the window. When the girl awoke the next morning, she jumped up to look out the window to see what she could see. There was only one problem. There was no window in her room.
