I'm looking for the parents of William S. Greer who was born abt. 1799-1800 in Va. He first appears in Barren Co. census in 1840. He was md. first to Elizabeth Runyon in 1819, and Rachel O'Neale in 1824 with whom he had the the following children:Bennett C., Joseph, William, Sarah E., Rachel L., Mary C.. He also had a daughter Cassandra (Ward)--- I'm not sure which wife was her mother. I suspect that Willam S. had a sister named Polly who also md.a Runyon. Wm. S. is mentioned in the will of Elizabeth Moran who is rumored to have been md. to a Greer and also a Clark before marrying John Moran. Even though I've tried for several years, I haven't been able to connect this Greer line to any other in Barren Co. Any information would be appreciated and I'd be happy to share any that I have.
