Son of the late Leon Earl Freeman and Madeline Minor Freeman. Baptist. Graduated Center High School in 1954, from Bowling Green College of Commerce in 1961. U S Air Force veteran, spent part of his service in Japan. After service, former federal bank examiner, former employee of First Federal Savings and Loan in Glasgow, city clerk of Glasgow for 15 years, farmer, most recently, carpet salesman for Carpet Bargain Barn. Survivors: Wife of 53 years: Mary Bass Freeman Two children: Julia Siemens (Doug) of Siloam Springs Ark and Garvin Freeman (Marlene) of Glasgow Four grandsons: Joshua Siemens, Trenton Siemens and Lee Siemens of Siloam Springs and Philip Freeman of Glasgow Two sisters: Inez McCandless (Bobby) of Glasgow and Gail Willett (Bob) of Lexington KY Several nieces and nephews Services: 3 pm Thursday, 9 Aug 2007, A F Crow & Son Funeral Home, burial with military honors at Hiseville Cemetery.
