I kept getting an error message each time. Yet, today when I came back to the site it had posted them all. This is a NEW POST!!!!!! Anyone researching William and Daniel Willcockson, sons of Isaac and Martha (Bane) Willcockson should read the following articles. I believe there has been a great mistake made on their parentage and it is continuing to be passed from person to person as fact. I do not agree with this article that David is the son of Isaac. I think he is the first born son of John and Sarah, as Isaac and Martha weren't yet married. Isaac could have been married previous to his marriage with Martha, but records have yet to be found to confirm this. David's birth date fits with John and Sarah's marriage, if she was with child before marriage, as has been stated by some researchers. John and David are taxed together on the 1768 Rowan Co., NC list of Morgan Bryan, Jr. In the 1772 tax list, Johnston's District, we find Isaac and William taxed together and David Jones and Daniel Wilcox together. Maybe Daniel is learning a trade from David Jones, weaver.
