For those of you who heard about our storms last night; there appears to be a lot of damage but no injuries. It was possibly a micro-burst that hit our area, centered primarily along the by-pass of 31E area, out to Barren Co High and Middle Schools, South Fork Road. Hardest hit was our Electric Plant Board .. our power, cable, internet and (to many of us) phone company. Part of the roof was blown off and 4 utility poles went down. We were off-line for a couple of hours but the rest of the services stayed up. Many trees down in the area. Again, no injuries but it was really a surprise when at 4 pm, 73 degrees, the storm hit!
