GLASGOW - [photo]. Edna Caroline Bowles 91 of Glasgow, KY died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late Arthur "Blank" Dugard and Myrtie Lawson Dugard and wife of the late Lucian Jewell Bowles. Mrs. Bowles was a member of the First General Baptist Church. Survivors include 5 daughters Margaret Poynter of Glasgow, Dorothy Willoughby & husband John C. of Sellersburg, IN, Barbara Dilley & husband Johnny of Glasgow, Lena Connell & husband Dan of Bowling Green, KY and Debbie Maziarz & husband Greg of Glasgow; 4 sons David Bowles of Daytona Beach, FL, Donald Bowles & wife Tish of Glasgow, Jerry Carl Bowles & wife Janet of Glasgow and John M. Bowles & wife Donna of Glasgow; 23 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 2 great great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Terry J. Bowles, a grandson Jerry Joseph Bowles and 8 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bowles Cemetery.
