GLASGOW - [photo on-line]. Betty Ann Bennett Thomas, 80, of Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital E.R. She was a native of Hart County and had lived most of her life in Uno, Ky. until a few years ago when she moved in with her daughter, Pam, when her health began to fail. She was also a retired nurse's aide at the Kentucky State Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Bennett and Mary Agnes Nichols Bennett; two daughters, Mary Sue and Loretta Ann Thomas; two brothers, Carl and Jackie Bennett, and three sisters, Barbara Poynter, Eva Mae Smith and Sue Morrison. Funeral services will be held at Winn Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 and 8-11 a.m. on Thursday. She is survived by two daughters, Pam Key, and husband, Dennis, of Glasgow, and Teresa Roerk, Glasgow; 3 sons, Michael Thomas, and wife, Christi, of Brentwood, TN; Rick Thomas, and wife, Theresa, Clarksville, TN, and Terry "Charlie" Thomas, and wife, Shellie, Cave City, 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; one sister, Doris Jean Coats, Cave City, one brother, Blaine Bennett, Horse Cave, and several nieces and nephews.
