CAVE CITY - Tim Piercy, 54, of Cave City, [photo] passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was a Barren County native, owned and operated Tim's Trucking and Excavation Service, was a partner with D & B Tax Services, a welder, an avid hunter and was a member of Rowletts Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, E.W. Piercy and Sally Horton Piercy and his wife, Sarah Jane Piercy. Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Ann Piercy, of Cave City; his fiance', Vicki Lucas, of Cave City; two step-children, Ashleigh Lucas and Austin Lucas; his sister, Beth Patrick and husband, Dennis, of Cave City; his brother, Fairley Piercy and wife, Patty, of Cave City and several nieces and nephews and a special nephew, Timothy Patrick. Funeral services will be conducted at the Rowletts Baptist Church, Tuesday, January, 21, 2014 at 12PM (Noon) with burial to follow in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens near Edmonton under the direction of Winn Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 5-9PM, Monday, from 9AM-9PM and Tuesday from 9AM until service time at Rowletts Baptist Church. Glasgow (KY) Daily Times, Tuesday, 21 Jan 2014, p.
