CAVE CITY - Edward H Rigdon, 65, Cave City, [photo on-line] passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at TJ Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow. The Barren County native was born on April 14, 1948 to the late Huston and Mary Fields Rigdon. He was a well known taxidermist and member of Basil Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Linda Poynter Rigdon, Cave City; a daughter, April Carter; daughter-in-law, April Smith; grandchildren, Jaelyn Carter, Carson Carter, Dalton Vance, Christian Smith, and Nolan Carter. He was preceded in death by a son, David Smith. Graveside services under the direction of the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, will be at 11 AM Thursday, January 16, at the Cave City Cemetery.
