CAVE CITY -Charles Henry Barlow, age 73, of Cave City, KY, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, KY. He was a retired farmer, former member of Beaver Dam Masonic Lodge, former city council member at Morgantown, KY, retired from R.R. Donnelley and a member of the Allen Seminary Baptist Church. He was the son of the late John Shelby Barlow and the late Bessie Lou Hatchett Barlow. He is survived by his wife, Bettye Queen Green Barlow; one daughter, Valeria Queen Barlow, Louisville, KY; one son, Charles Anthony Barlow, Louisville, KY; five sisters, Betty Jane Rice, Cincinnati, OH, Rogenia Rice, Cave City, KY, Mary Green, Cave City, KY, Phyllis Jones, Glasgow, KY, Virginia Barlow, Glasgow, KY; three brothers, John Barlow, Jr., Anchorage, Alaska, Edward Barlow, Clinton, MO, Frankie Barlow, Glasgow, KY. The family will receive friends 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, January 24, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home and 10:00 am until time of service on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Allen Seminary Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Allen Seminary Baptist Church with Rev. Hugh Heater and Rev. David Greene officiating.
