CAVE CITY - Harriet Wachholder, 71, Cave City, lost her battle with lung cancer on Sunday, March 02, 2014 at T J Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow. She was born March 16, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Nathan and Violet Bort Gross. She and her husband James moved to Cave City in 1995. She was employed at various jobs including Watermill Restaurant, TJ Samson Community Hospital, Home Instead and the Senior Center. She was a member of the Point of Grace Church in Glasgow. Survivors include her husband, James Wachholder; two daughters, Sherri and Kathy; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a sister Liela. Funeral services will be at 1 PM Thursday, March 6th at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City with burial in the Cave City Cemetery.
