LAWRENCEBURG - Nancy Fendell, 72, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. She was born in Barren County, KY to the late Joseph Leslie and Sadie Mildred Shipley Brown. Nancy is a retired 35 year employee of Wild Turkey Distillery. She is a member of the Alton Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and crocheting. Nancy is survived by three children, Trinette (Greg) Berry of Bagdad, KY, Joseph Fendell of Lawrenceburg, and Tabitha Clatos of Frankfort; 4 grandchildren, Tanesha Aton, Malichi, Savanah, and Holli-Ann Reardon; a sister, Doris Ann (Dale) Hurley of Park City, KY; and a sister-in-law, Willa-Dean Brown. She was preceded in death by a brother Richard Brown. Funeral services will be 7 pm Saturday, Feb. 22nd at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Shannon officiating. Visitation will be 4 - 7 pm Saturday. Graveside services will be 2 pm (CDT) Sunday at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Barron County, KY with Bro. Ken Thomas officiating.
