GLASGOW - Boyd Denver Young 80 of Glasgow died Friday, February 21, 2014 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Caddo Mills, TX a son of the late Ulner Hurshel Young and Mildred Youngblood Young. Mr. Young was a heavy equipment operator and a former employee of Holland Inc. in Warren County. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his six children Bonnie Griffin (Steve) of Royse City, TX, Charles Young (Debbie) of Ft. Worth, TX, Larry Young (Kim) of Arlington, TX, Debbie Davis (Kennie) of Glasgow, Cynthia Kirkland (Robert) of Euless, TX and Stacy Davis (Robert) of Cave City; the mother of his children Emma Green Young Gregg; 19 Grandchildren; 33 Great Grandchildren; two brothers John Alvin Young (Tressie) of Glasgow and T.J. Young (Sharon) of Springtown, TX; 4 sisters Dorothy Hankins (Gene) of Horse Cave, Jakee Newman (Dean) of Weatherford, TX, Virginia "Sissy" Rapier (Jimmy) of Dayton, TN and Delores Tufte (Gary) of Haslet, TX. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by a brother Billy Young and a sister La Joyce Butler. Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, February 23rd at the A. F.
