I live near his home place, and all the stones were removed to make it easier for the former owner to mow. However, they were all field stones with no names on them. From "A Historical Trip Through Barren Co., Ky" by C. C. Simmons - a series of newspaper articles that appeared in the 30's and 40's. "Timothy, father of Isaac and Erasmus, came to Barren County soon after the turn of the century and patented a tract of 200 acres on land on Peters Creek. It appears that Isaac Tracy built the large frame house . There are a number of graves in the small burial plot west of the old house. Mrs. D. H. Bewley, whose age is beyond three score and ten, states that when she was a small child a large wild cherry tree was growing on one of the graves and that she was told it was one of the early Tracy'.s" Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
