GLASGOW [photo]. Eva Jackson Wheeler, 75, Glasgow, died Thursday, May 29, 2014, at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Jay and Lena Humes Jackson. She was a retired employee of the T. J. Samson Community Hospital, a participant in the Foster Grandparent Program, and a member of Brotherhood Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include her six children: Charles Wheeler and wife Judy; Richard Wheeler, Jr. and wife Ann; Clifton Wheeler; Jimmy Wheeler; Sandra Hammer and her significant other Mike Carter; and Tammy Pulley and husband William; one brother: Addus Jackson and wife Eddie Mae. She was also blessed with 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Cornelius Richard "Dick" Wheeler; one son: Tony Wheeler; one sister: Margaret Perkins; one brother: Max Jackson. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
