GLASGOW - [photo]. Rebecca Jane Forrest 79 of Glasgow died Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Metcalfe County the daughter of the late Garnett and Violet Neal Scroggy. Mrs. Forrest was employed as one of the first instructors for the Glasgow School for Practical Nurses, now a part of SCKTC, and retired as the director in 2002 after 45 years of service. She was active in many professional medical associations as a member and past-president. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church in Glasgow. She is survived by her husband Carl Kenton Forrest; 1 daughter Pam Bulle and husband Freddie of Glasgow; a grandson Kent Bulle of Glasgow; her sister-in-law Jean Scroggy of Sulphur Well; cousins Mary Rose McCoy, Karen Rector and Janet Kinslow and nieces and nephew, Shane Coffey, Todd Scroggy and Dawn Harbison. She was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Scroggy. Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
