GLASGOW - [Photo] - Barbara Diane "Shake" Wooten, 73, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, at her residence. She was born January 24, 1941 in Burkesville, KY to Floyd and Vallia Vincent. Barbara was a retired employee of T. J. Samson Community Hospital, where she spent 30 years working in the dining room/snack bar. She later went on to managing the cafeteria before retiring in 2010. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents as well as her Maternal and Paternal Grandparents. Barbara is survived by four daughters: Jacqueline Russell of Richmond, Pam Ryan and husband Mike of Glasgow, Angela Wooten of Glasgow, and Julie Staples and husband Derick of Munfordville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a friend of 40 years, Barbara Emmitt. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to T J Samson Hospice or Brawa of Barren County.
