I've been meaning to pass this on again. If you don't have anything to do today, go check out the State of KY site on the web ...... the URL is: http://sos.ky.gov/land/ This is the part of their site that deals with lands - it has a wonderful description of how the settlers obtained lands, the patent process, Rev War soldiers who bought land, the Tellico lands, lands south of the Green River, Treasury Warrants (constantly being added to). You can search a LOT of files and in some, can print off a copy of the actual document. I spent a couple of hours last night going over the site again and am amazed at everything found. Kandie Adkison is responsible for putting a lot of the data out here of dthe Secretary of State's office. Go browse for awhile!
