I decided to keep working on my birthday the other day and have finished up the 2nd volume of the KY Court of Appeals book. This volume covers the time frame from Winter Term 1854 through winter term 1858; Terms 1866 through 1873; winter term 1874, summer term 1875, summer and winter term 1876, January term 1877 through January term 1878. Counties included are: Adair, Allen, Barren, Cumberland, Edmonson, Green, Hardin, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe and Warren - 132 appeals of decisions at these Circuit Courts. This covers the Civil War period and there are some fascinating cases! If you would like to see a copy of the table of contents and the index of names cited, write me privately as usual. Since there are many lawyers, judges, reporters, etc. listed, I have shown them at the first of the index, followed by the citizens involved.
