Member Kentucky Saler Cattleman's Association, Barren County Cattleman's Association, Masonic Lodge, Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce, South Green Street Church of Christ. U S Army vetran of WWII and served with valor and honder under General Montgomery in the European Theatre with the 9th Army, 809th Tank Destroyer Unit.
