Glasgow - Philip Edgar Alexander, [photo] 92, of Glasgow, died Sunday July 31, 2011, at the NHC Healthcare Facility. Born in Tennessee he was the son of the late Edgar Cheatham and Harriett Ann Cardon Alexander. He was the owner and operator of A & R Trucking and more recently employed by Pharmerica Inc. He is survived by his wife Regina Brown Alexander; three sons Terrell (Suzanne) Alexander, Eddie (Brenda) Alexander and Kim (Joann) Alexander all of Glasgow; eight grandchildren Jeaneed Williams, Terry Alexander, Cory Alexander, Jason Alexander, Anne Hutchinson, Sara Alexander, Philip Alexander and Marina Alexander; seven great-grandchilden Jordon Chapman, Skkyler Williams, Annsleigh and Ashlynn Alexander, Caroline Hutchinson, Anna Kate Alexander and Andrew Alexander; and one brother Robert Alexander of Peoria, Ill. He was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Beck and Joe Alexander. Visitation will be at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with cremation to follow.
