GLASGOW - Geneva M. Bushong [photo], 74, Glasgow, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A daughter of the late John and Hagar Smith Bushong, she was a former employee of the dietary department at Barren County Health Care Center and was a member of the Coral Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, James Earl (Cindy) Bushong; two daughters, Phyllis Bushong and Georgia (Barry) Coffey; four grandchildren, Kenitha and Cierra Coffey, Cody Bushong and Nikki Rutledge; one great-grandson, Jakobie Bryon Bush; two brothers, Raymond Bushong and John Bushong; four sisters, Evelyn Erwin, Linda Morgan, Anna McDonald, and Betty Reece; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Ann Bushong; and three brothers, William Bushong, Richard Bushong, and James Bushong. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Smith Family Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
