Also, Tompkinsville, KY. Particularly Mary Birch (1828 - 1907). She had one son, Jmaes Matthew, to whom she gave her maiden name of Birch to. Stories passed down through the years says James's dad was a David Rasner. I can not find who Mary's parents were. If anyone has any information or ideas.. . .the help would be greatly appreciated.
