Glasgow - Mae Dunaway Anderson [photo], 100, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011 at the Glasgow Health and Rehab Center in Glasgow. Born in Spencer, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late William and Leoda Dearman Dunaway, and wife of the late Joseph Anderson. While in West Virginia she was a retail sales clerk, attended the 5th Ave. Church of God in South Charleston and was a member of the O.E.S. Salinas Chapter. As a Glasgow resident, she attended the Glasgow Bible Church. She is survived by her son, William J. "Bill" Anderson (Cynthia) of Glasgow; two granddaughters, Renee Basil (Scott) of Glasgow and Sarah Jackson (Dean) of Alaska; four great-grandchildren, Damarias, Wally, Timmy and Cyrus; a niece, Donna Sue Williams (Bud) of Atlanta, Ga., and a great nephew, Buddy Williams of Atlanta, Ga. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elsie Runion and Edna Dunaway, and a nephew, Frank Runion. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Thursday at the Glasgow Bible Church. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time for service. Burial will be at Cunningham Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Albans, W. Va., on Saturday at 11 a.m. There will be visitation Friday at the Fidler & Frame Funeral Home in Belle, W.
