I am trying to get an idea of what the area was like, and what would have attracted my ancestors, who moved from Virgina. James Redford moved to Barren Co., around 1800 with his family, from Virginia. In Virginia, many of the Redfords owned farms, so I am guessing the area is agricultural (I have never been to the area). Any advice is welcome! Thank you -- A.
