PARK CITY - William Ernest Smith [photo on-line], 63, of Park City, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Frank Smith and Lula Mae Bunch Smith. Mr. Smith was a life-long farmer. Survivors include three sons, Earnest (Bubba) Smith Jr. of Scottsville, Wesley Smith (Linda) of Glasgow and Scottie Smith of Park City; one daughter, Georgie Sparks of Louisville; one step-daughter, Angela Beaty (Steven) of Glasgow; one brother, Lester Bunch of Park City; two sistes, Brenda England (Danny) of Park City and Wanda Chapman (Terry) of Glasgow; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Smith, one son Charles Lee Huff (Scooby) and one brother, Paul Bunch. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bon Ayr Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
