Ralph R. Woodward, 85, of Ninevah, Ind., passed away September 19, 2011. He was born on May 13, 1926 in Glasgow, to the late Franklin Preston Woodward and Thelma Gordon Woodward. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of WWII and was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ. Ralph was retired from Indiana Gas Company working as an inspector. He was preceded in death by wives, Audrey Pierce Woodward who passed away in 1979 and Betty Woodward who passed away in 1998, a sister Imogene Miller and a great nephew, Andrew Clay Johnson. Survivors include two sisters, Martha Johnson (Gene) of Glasgow and Doris Young of Charlotte, N. C., and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday from noon until w p.m. at the Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory Vandiver-Tudor Chapel, 951 North Main St. in Franklin. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday.
