GLASGOW - Hallie Christine Duff [photo - Black], 81, of Glasgow, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren County, she was the daughter of the late John and Nettie Doty Forrest and wife of the late George Duff Jr. Mrs. Duff was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church and a former employee of New Farmers Bank at Hiseville. Survivors include two sons, James Douglas Duff (Tammy) and David Wayne Duff (Chandra), both of Glasgow, three grandchildren, Brittany Agatha Duff of Bowling Green, and Madisyn Rilee Duff and George Ashton Duff, both of Glasgow; a sister, Mary Jo Edwards of LeGrande; former daughter-in-law, Myra Sublett of Glasgow; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
