GLASGOW - David Wayne Jessie [photo on-line], 59, of Glasgow, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011 at his residence. A native of Barren County, he was a son of William "Pete" Jessie and the late Goldie Mae Isenberg Jessie. He was a merchandise manager for the Kentucky Headhunters, a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of Glasgow Faith Baptist Church. In addition to his father, he is survived by his lifelong companion, Bessie Bartley and her son, Dale Bartley and her grandchildren, Johnny Bartley and Shane Bartley; one brother, Marty Jessie (Connie) of Knoxville, TN; three sisters, Anita Edmonds (Anthony), Tammy Owens and Sandy Harp (Randy), all of Glasgow; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one sister, Cindy Jessie. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
