I was recently reminded of something while tracing one of our family back to England. When I found a confirmed line in England, I delved in. Did you know that when seeing a death date in old English records - it is not really the day the individual died - it is the date of burial! Certainly it would be shortly after the individual's death, but it can throw off one's records. Charlie has posted the puzzler of the week - are you brave enough to try to guess?
