GLASGOW: Sarah Martha Jones [photo], 83, of Glasgow, died Monday, September 19, 2011, at Barren County Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. Born in Barren County the daughter of the late Luther J. Anderson and the late Verda Adalinel Waller Jones, Mrs. Jones was a retired Assembly Line worker with Mallory's Capacitor in Glasgow. She was a member of the D.A.V. Chapter 20, Etoile Chapter of the Eastern Star with over 50 years service and a member of the Dover Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Hermon. Survivors include two sons Clifford Wayne Jones (Peggy) & Wallace Earl Jones (Peggy) both of Glasgow; three daughters, Sarah Frances Wright (Mike), Betty Nell Davis (Johnny) both of Glasgow and Connie Estella Bewley and fiance Deric Childress of Cave City; one brother Luther Dave Anderson (Phyllis) of IL; nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and several step great grandchildren; and one son-in-law Bobby McPherson (Vicky) of Glasgow also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter Martha Sue McPherson; one brothr James William Anderson; one half brother Hascal Anderson; one sister Mary Edith Gentry and one half sister Verda Mayo. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday September 21, 2011, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Etoile Chapter of the Eastern Star will conduct an Eastern Star sevice Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
