GLASGOW - Marcella Compton Wagoner [photo], 77, of Glasgow died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the University Hospital in Louisville. Born in Adair Co. she was the daughter of the late James Robert & Josie Coomer Compton and wife of the late William Edward Wagoner. Mrs. Wagoner was retired from Sorenson's Mfg and Wal-Mart Shoe Department. She attended the Immanuel Baptist Church and Point of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons Eddie Wagoner (Kay), Marshall Wagoner (Mary) and Ernie Wagoner (Martaha) all of Glasgow; four grandchildren Jonna Wagoner, Jennifer Merritt (Sam), Michael Ward (Annie) and Michelle Self; six great-grandchildren Ali Grace Wagoner, Nathan Embree, Adrian Self, Chelsea Hare, Sonya Merritt and Christian Merritt; a sister Martha Lacy (Gary); two brothers Billy Compton (Jean) and B. P. Compton; four nieces Rosemary Harvey, Jessica Lacy, Givanna Godby and Patricia Gilley and four nephews Jason Lacy, Jonathan Lacy, Kerry Gilley and Delbert Compton. In addition to her parents and husband she is ipreceded in death by a sister Maxine Gilley and two brothers Ruel and Ralph Compton. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 24 at A. F.
