There were two other Lanes (Adran & Robert) in that same census. They were on the same page and I'm attaching that one also. There was a note on Robert Lane's census from a contributor named Marlin Criddle dated 14 Jun 2006, "This is Robert Layne (sic) b.c. 1778 in Johnson County, TN. He died 27 Sep 1826 in Barren County, Kentucky." Hope this fills in a few blanks. I am not related.
