Burch, Sr. [photo] Residence: Glasgow KY Native of Brunswick, GA Died: Tuesday, 17 May 2011, T J Samson Community Hospital, age 85 Lived in Lucas KY since 1990 Member of Immanuel Baptist Church, a U S Navy SP (F) 3/C fire fighter veteran of World War II, life member and chaplain of Glasgow, Chapter 20 DAV where he had participated in hundreds of military funeral services. Survivors: Two sons: Curtis Burch Jr (Ruth) of Bowling Green KY and Ricky Burch (Nancy) of Glasgow Special daughter: Mrs. Pat Johnson (James) of Brunswick GA Four grandchildren: Emily Richey (Rollin) of Louisville KY, Ellie Burch of Glasgow, Pixie Jarvis (Dr Jim) of Bowling Green and Cynthia Burch of Bowling Green Great-grandson: Jordan Burch Several nieces and nephews and the Vaccaro family of Massachusetts. Memorial service: 2 pm Sunday, 22 May 2011 at Immanuel Baptist Church with full military honors. Honorary pall bearers will be Rolling Thunder Chapter 2 and the Freedom Riders.
