For and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to me in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged I have this day granted bargained & sold and by these presents do grant bargain & sell unto Franklin GORIN now of the town of Nashville and State of Tennessee a certain piece of ground lying & being in the town of Glasgow KY on Green Street and part of lot No. 74 (seventy-four) being part of the lot conveyed by C. P. TAYLOR to me and the part intended to be conveyed is bounded as follows. Beginning on Green Street on a line of lot No. 73 thence Southwardly with Green Street forty feet then eastwardly at right angles with Green Street Ninety five feet thence Northwardly parallel with Green Street forty feet thence Westwardly Ninety five to the Beginning. To have & to hold said lot or piece of ground unto said Gorin & his heirs forever, and I covenant and agree to warrant and defend the title to the same to said Gorin against all claims whatever.
