"Whereas the Barren Circuit Court at the September term 1849, in a suit wherein Thomas M. PIPER was complt [complainant] and Catharine Piper &c Defts, rendered a decree directing William Garnett as Commissioner to convey to Susan Jane Piper the interest of Louisa Piper in and to lot No. 4 allotted to said Susan Jane Piper by commissioners appointed by a former decree in said cause. Lot No. 4 is not laid down by corners & distances, but is platted and bounded by calling for certain figures on said platt and contains 116 acres as appears from the report of said Commissioners filed in said cause. Now in consideration of the premises, I as Commissioner do hereby convey to said Susan Jane Piper the interest of Louisa Piper in & to said lot No. 4. To the said Susan Jane Piper heir heirs & assigns forever. To have and to hold free from the claim of the said Louisa Piper and all persons claiming under her.
