    3. Good morning on yet another week of high temperatures and for many of you, a horrible dry spell! I would like to recommend a free site to you if you haven't found it it. I spent much of the weekend actually working on my own family trees (rare anymore!) and I checked out a site I hadn't been looking at for some time - Find-A-Grave. (Findagrave.com) This site, which is user contributed, has millions of headstones contributed on thousands of surnames, all across the USA. If a stone is found, the page will show a photograph of the stone (not all have pictures), the transcription of the stone, the cemetery where it is located and many times extra information such as parents, obituary or other data. I found about 75 stones recorded for the surname Gorin that tied into our family alone. Many of these I had - but had lost the name of the cemetery. If information is missing by the individual who took the photograph, the reader can add a note to the contributor (there is a link to that individual) and provide the missing information. One can search by cemetery name or individual's name What is an extra added touch is that you can add flowers to the grave - a link takes you to a variety of flowers, pick one and click on it; that flower will appear on the page. This is especially nice if it's a close family member and you want to leave a flower and/or a note about them. No charge for this. Now - the puzzler. Charlie has posted this week's puzzler - please give it a try. In it, I am speaking of a widow who has remained a widow; she has NOT re-married. Have a great week!
