Glasgow - Mark Thrasher [photo], 58, of Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Mark was born in Burkesville on Jan 7, 1953, to the late Estell Tweedy Thrasher and the late Benton Thrasher. IN addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Lisa Thrasher. Survivors include his wife, Alice Edwards Thrasher, Glasgow; one son, John Mark Thrasher of Glasgow; two daughters, Brandy (Andrew) Smith of Edmonton, and Lori Westmoreland of Glasgow; three brothers, Michael Thrasher of Burkesville and Timmy Thrasher of Edmonton, Tommy (Stacy) Thrasher of Burkesville; one sister, Gail (Jimmy) Watt of Smiths Grove; three brothers-in-law, Jerry (Shari) Edwards of Hardyville, Kenneth (Barbara) Edwards of Lexington, Marty (Ruby) Edwards of Hardyville; one granddaughter, Khloe Westmoreland; one grandson, Avrie Thrasher; his mother-in-law, Shirley Edwards of Hardyville and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2011, at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, with Marty Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Stockton Cemetery.
