Glasgow - Mitchell Mizell [photo], 88, of Glasgow, died Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the NHC Healthcare Facility. Born in Barren County, he was the son of the late Buford Smith and Virgie Rigney Mizell. Mr. Mizell was a farmer and worked in the shipping department of the Kentucky Pants Factory in Glasgow and was a member of the Temple Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mamie Nell Bartley Mizell; two sons, Harold Mizell and wife Teresa, Rogere Mizell and wife Sheilia all of Glasgow; one daughter Brenda McGuire and husband Tony of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren, nine gtreat-grandchildren, one step great-grandchild and a sister Jenny Woods of Louisville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Joe Mizell; a grandchild Bethany Grace Mizell; four brothers William, Glen, Charlie and John Mizell and two sisters Leona & Lola Mizell. Funeral services wsill be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 19 at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.mn. Monday, JKuly 18 at the funeral home.
