Temple Hill - William Hollis "Popstick" Greever [photo], 63, of Temple Hill, died Friday, July 22, 2011, at his residence. He was born in Barren County the son of the late William Henry Greever and Sarah Katherine Carter Greever. William was employed as a road grader operator for the Barren County Road Department for many years and was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife Rita Greever of Temple Hill; 5 children, Teresa Staples (Dale) of Mt. Hermon, Jason Greever (Brandy) of Mt. Hermon, Christie Trivett (Johnathan) Temple Hill, Jennifer Ballard of Temple Hill and Scott Ballard of Austin Tracy; 10 grandchildren, Landyn Trivett, Heather Staples, Tara Staples, Blake Greever, Briley Greever, Brennan Walls, Brayden Walls, Dillon Trivett, Leslie Staples and Dakota Ballard; 3 sisters, Linda Martin (Danny) of Edmonton, Brenda Hiser (Robert of Austin Tracy and Patty Harrison (Dave) of Austin Tracy; 2 brothers, Jimmy Greever (Lisa) Mt Hermon and Tommy Greever (Darlene) Glasgow; 5 nieces and 5 nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 brother, Paul Greever; 1 sister, Barbara Greever; 1 nephew, Jeff Greever and 1 great grandchild, Hayden Miller. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, July 25, 2011, at A. F. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
