W. Ard Die At Hospital Wed. Cyrenius W. Ard, 76, a resident of 1009 Columbia Avenue, died at 12;15 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Hospital, after a long illness. A retired farmer, he was the son of the late C. W. and Tabitha Flemming Ard, was born in Barren County, and was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alma Worthington Ard; five sons, Robert, Warren and David Ard, all of Martinsville, Indiana; Lawrence Ard, Bellville, Michigan, and Clem Ard, Phoenix, Arizona; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Kirby, Glasgow, and Mrs. W. P. Kirchnen, Bellville, Michigan; a sister, Mrs. Myrtie Maple, Connersville, Indiana, and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in the Glasgow cemetery. The Reverends Sanders and Otey will direct the services.
