Fought at Shiloh, Vicksburg, Murfreesboro, Jackson, Chickamauga, Mission Ridge, Rocky Face Gap, Resaca & Dallas; from Dallas to Atlanta, Peachtree, Intrenchment & Utoy Creeks, both days at Jonesboro; in mounted engagements. BLAKEMAN, John, Green Co: Fought at Shiloh where he was wounded; Vicksburg, Murfreesboro, Jackson, Chickamauga, Mission Ridge, Rocky Face Gap, Resaca & Dallas; Dallas to Atlanta, Peachtree, Intrenchment, Utoy Creeks, both days at Jonesboro & in mounted engagements. One of the McMinnville Guard in the spring of 1863. BLAKEMAN, Milton, Green Co. Killed in battle at Shiloh 6 Apr 1862. BLAKEMAN, Daniel, Green Co: Not enlisted until 17 Sept 1862; died of disease at Murfreesboro 15 Jan 1863. BRYANT, James G, Adair Co: Fought at Baton Rouge, Murfreesboro & Chickamauga; killed at the latter place 20 Sept 1863. BRYANT, Nat. Gaither, Adair Co: Fought at Shiloh, Vicksburg, Baton Rouge, Murfreesboro, Jackson, Chickamauga, Mission Ridge, Resaca, Dallas, from Dallas to Atlanta, Peachtree, Intrenchment & Utoy Creeks, both days at Jonesboro & in mounted engagements. BARNETT, James, Green Co: Wounded in battle at Shiloh & died 1 May 1862. BOWLING, Richard W, Hart Co: Appt. 3rd Sgt 1 Apr 1863. Fought at Chickamauga, having been prevented by ill health from taking part in the earlier engagements; fought at Rocky Face Ridge, Resaca & Dallas, from Dallas to Atlanta, Peachtree, Intrenchment & Utoy Creeks and at Jonesboro. Killed in charge at the latter place 31 Aug 1861. CRUMPTON, William, Green Co: Died of disease at Nashville 7 Dec 1861. COX, Charles T, Greensburg: Appt 4th Sgt 15 Nov 1861, fought at Shiloh where he was wounded and captured. DAVIS, M L, Green Co: Fought at Shiloh, Vicksburg & Murfreesboro; wounded at the latter place; died of disease 15 Sept 1863. DARNELL, William, Green Co: Discharged on account of disability by disease 25 May 1862. DOBSON, E L, Green Co: Fought at Baton Rouge, Murfreesboro, Jackson, Rocky Face Ridge, Resaca & Dallas, wounded in a skirmish at Pine Mountain 21 June 1864 but recovered & took part in mounted engagements.
