TRABUE & Richard GARNETT, commissioners appointed by the Barren County Court at its May term 1837 of the one part and William NEWLAND of the other part Witnesseth that the said Commissioners in Virtue of the authority vested them by the apd. order of said Barren County Court, do hereby convey to the said William NEWLAND his heirs and assigns The following described lot or parcel of land aloted to the said William NEWLAND by the Commissioners appointed by said Barren County Court to divide and alot to the heirs and representatives of Ezekiel NEWLAND decd. the lands of the said decedent Towit Lot No. 4 in the report of said Commissioners. Beginning at Isaac NEWLAND's northwest corner. Thence North 75 East 62 poles to two apple trees. North 61 East 27 poles to CROGHAN's line. Thence N20 poles to CROGHAN's Corner. Thence East 120 poles to a Stake. N 179 poles to a red Oak, West 179 poles to a red oak and White Oak. South 216 poles to the beginning containing 225 acres, part of FISHER's 200 patent to E. NEWLAND. To have and to hold to the said William NEWLAND his heirs and assigns forever free from the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatever.
