Name: Cornell Cedar Clarke Residence: Sun City, FL Formerly of Glasgow KY Born: 6 Oct 1924 Died: Sunday, 20 March 2011, age 86 Grew up in Socorro NM; graduated from KY Military Academy, the University of KY and Indiana University where he received a doctorate degree. His professional career included teaching, administration and coaching as well as clinical counseling. Member of the Rotary Club, president of the Sun City Center Community Association, president of the Men's Club of Sun City Center, chairman of Operations and Security and served on the Resident Advisory Committee. He was also active in St. John the Divine's Episcopal Church, an avid lawn bowler. Survivors: Wife of 65 years: Marjorie Mitchell Clarke Children: Debbie Prada (Jesus) of Albuquerque, NM, Charles Clarke (Linda), Cathy Clarke (Paula) of Seymour, TN and J Mitchell Clarke (Lynne) of Dallas, TX Grandchildren: David, Javier, Sara, Candace, Meghan, Katharine, Mitchell, Christian and Nicholas Great-grandchildren: Gianna and Saffron Memorial services were held in Sun City Center with a celebration of life to be held Saturday, 21 May 2011 at the Hall Place in Glasgow.
