Glasgow - Menta "Polly Keith Renfro [photo], 96, of Glasgow, died Thursday, June 2, 2011, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Elizabeth Berry Britt. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bon Ayr Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, G. A. Hawkins and wife, Maxine, of Glasgow; one daughter, Ruenell Kinser and husband Mickey, of Bowling Green; three grandchildren, Kenneth Hawkins and wife Charlotte, Kelven Hawkins and wife Kim, all of Glasgow, and Kim Propes and husband Anthony, of Seneca, SC; six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three husbands, Irvin Hawkins, Homer Keith and Clarence Renfro. Also preceding her in death were seven brothers and one sister. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
