Glasgow - Glenda Elise England, 71, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Glasgow, KY, she is the daughter of the late Glen Emberton and Odessa Eakle Emberton of Glasgow, who survives, and wife of the late Ray England. Mrs. England was a former employee of T. J. Samson Community Hospital and a member of the Coral Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Sharon Jessie (David) of Glasgow; two sons, Jim England (Margaret) of Albany, KY, and Clayton England (Lisa) of Glasgow; a stepson, Leon England (Carole) of Jacksonville, FL; two stepdaughters, Barbara Weimann (Georg) of Austin, Texas, and Carolyn Baker of Louisville, KY; 10 grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren, a brother, Mack Emberton (Sue) of Glasgow and two sisters, Carol Smith (James) and Vessa Hedges, both of Glasgow also survive. In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Donnie England, and a stepdaughter, Wanda Hurley. Funeral services willbe 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, at A. F.
